Employment Application and Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma

  • Must pass federal and state criminal background checks

  • Have at least 2500 hours of child care experience or have a degree in a related child care field.

  • Teacher positions require credits in education or in a related field.

 

 

All positions at Early Years Child Care Centers require the completion of these clearances.

Child Abuse Clearance

Register, pay, and approval will
be sent within 14 days.

PA Criminal

You will register using “submit a new record check”.  This clearance is immediate – click on the “certification” form and print.

FBI Fingerprinting

You will register online, then schedule an appointment to get fingerprinted. Contact your new employer for the ID number. This is unique to each company.

NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry)

There is no cost to this clearance; please follow the directions closely so the application is not rejected. Scanning the form will result in a faster response.

Health Assessment

Physician Form: To be completed by your doctor.

Immediate Access Form: If you prefer to be seen by our designated physician, we will cover the upfront cost and deduct the amount from your first paycheck.

Hours Verification

To meet employment eligibility requirements, you must provide documentation of at least 2,500 verified hours. A verification form is attached for your convenience.

Mandated Reporter Training

As required by state law, all employees working with children or youth must complete Mandated Reporter Training. This training ensures you understand your legal responsibilities in reporting child abuse or neglect.

References

Please provide two professional references from individuals not related to you. These may be submitted via email or brought in printed form to your interview.
