What is Keystone STARS?
Keystone STARS stands for Standards, Training/Professional Development, Assistance, Resources, and Support.
This statewide program is designed to help child care and early learning providers continuously improve the quality of their services. Programs are evaluated across several important areas, including:
- Staff qualifications and professional development
- Classroom learning environment and curriculum
- Partnerships with families and the community
- Effective leadership and program management
Programs can earn a STAR 1 to STAR 4 rating, with each STAR level representing higher standards of quality and continuous improvement beyond basic state licensing requirements.
What Does Our STAR Rating Mean?
Early Years is proud to be a Keystone STARS participant with a STAR 2 rating.
